Last Night Was Exactly Why You Buy Big Fight PPV's

If you missed the fight last night and are wondering if it was as good as the entire internet is saying, yes, yes it was. Last night was exactly why I will always buy big fight PPV’s. Boxing or MMA, I don’t care. Because what McGregor and Diaz did was exactly why we watch as sports fans. It’s why we shell out the cash and suffer through shitty Mayweather fights or the underwhelming UFC 200 card. It was the peak of fighting. Two guys stepping in the middle of the Octagon and trading blows for 5 long rounds. There were multiple times I thought both fighters were done. Conor had Diaz’s number through the first 2 rounds. Diaz had Conor wobbling and basically dead in the third, Conor came back in the 4th and that 5th was an all out war to bring it to the ground by Diaz. I still can’t believe McGregor took some of those shots from Diaz and I absolutely can not believe anyone on this earth is as comfortable eating punches as Nate Diaz. Absolute warriors in every sense of the word. And the best part? We now get a third, a rubber match. Dana White has to be smiling ear to ear because Diaz vs McGregor III will be the most hyped fight since Mayweather/Pacquiao. I’m already excited.
